Christine Lachapel - 2025 NLC New York City Fellow
Christine Lachapel (she/her) is an advocate for economic justice and a dedicated nonprofit professional. In her role as a shelter operations manager, she oversees the provision of housing and food assistance to migrants and supports clients during times of crisis and emergency. Christine graduated from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in criminology. A native of the Bronx, NY, Christine is committed to addressing issues of poverty, inequality, and displacement. Outside of her work, she is actively involved in local community initiatives and enjoys volunteering to empower underserved populations. Driven by her passion for social change, Christine strives to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those she serves.
