Chris Norman – Oakland
Chris Norman (they/he) is a housing policy and racial equity professional based in Oakland. They currently work to advance housing justice policies through a joint position between the City of Oakland, PolicyLink, and the Partnership for the Bay’s Future. Chris brings experience from the public, private, and non-profit sectors, where they managed multiple community and leadership development efforts intended to create equitable outcomes for the Bay Area's communities of color. They previously served on Oakland's Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission, the Oakland LGBT Community Center's inaugural Board of Directors, and the San Francisco Fellows Advisory Board. Chris holds a master’s degree in urban planning from the University of Southern California and a bachelor’s degree in geography from Dartmouth College. Outside of work, Chris can be found taking in the Bay’s beautiful views, finding the perfect burrito, and enjoying reality TV.
