Calvin Smith

Calvin Smith is the CEO of Hire Llama. As the CEO, he needs to ensure the vision that as a company Hire Llama is helping to establish connections across borders, ethnicities, and cultures so that people can cultivate meaningful and long-lasting relationships. Calvin is truly dedicated to working to create a more equitable and inclusive world through technology and a more diverse hiring mentality. Calvin is a three-time entrepreneur with experience in coding, sales/marketing and full-cycle recruiting in both tech and non-tech fields. Calvin previously helped to build and market the most downloaded point of sale on the Microsoft store while at Sabor POS. Currently, he serves as a board member at Represented, which is an organization working to reduce the diversity gap that exists in social entrepreneurship. As a board member he has delivered classes on how to track sales, create goals, and measure results. In addition to being a board member, Calvin is active in the entrepreneur world acting as a mentor to budding entrepreneurs. As a past-time, to stay in touch with his youth, he enjoys opening a fresh box of baseball cards every season. Also, he hopes to visit all baseball stadiums in the United States before 2025. He continues to explore new cultures and has working knowledge of the Spanish language.
