Angelica Dominguez - 2024 NLC Los Angeles Fellow
Angelica Dominguez is a queer Latina born and raised in Southern California. She is a program coordinator for Brighter Bites Los Angeles, in which she helps bring free fresh produce to low-income schools. She double majored in Nutrition and Food Science, graduating with her Bachelor’s of Science from California State University, Long Beach. Angelica is passionate about supporting food sovereignty and mental health and is interested in how our culture, environment, and mental health influence our food choices. Angelica likes to cook, read, and go for walks in her free time.
One thing that Angelica looks forward to being a part of NLC is getting to build relationships with individuals with different work and life experiences who also strive to influence social change and equity.
