Andreya Williams – Oklahoma

A native of Canton, OH, Andreya Williams (she/her) moved to Tulsa, OK in 2013. Andreya has worked in education throughout her professional career, including both K-12 and higher education. She currently serves as the Director of Tulsa Service Year, a year-long fellowship program that recruits recent college graduates from our nation’s top universities to do high impact work in a city driven by innovation and join a community of learners and doers. Andreya earned her Bachelor of Arts in Middle Childhood Education and her Master’s degree in Educational Administration & Supervision from the University of Toledo. She is currently a doctoral student at Oklahoma State University, pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies. Andreya has presented her research at numerous international and national conferences such as the Association for the Study of Higher Education, American Educational Research Association, and an International Symposium for Emerging Global Issues in Student Affairs. Additionally, she has authored a book chapter and articles on various topics across higher education and student affairs. In 2020, Andreya was awarded the Robert & Maxine Kamm Distinguished Graduate Fellowship. Andreya is an active partner at Transformation Church, a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and a member of Leadership Tulsa's Class of 54. In her free time, Andreya enjoys exploring new coffee shops, going to brunch with friends, and traveling the world!
