Amy Walsh, M.Sc. (she/her), is passionate about older adult advocacy and destigmatizing dementia. She believes dementia friendly communities are better communities for all. She has been working with people living with dementia for the last 8 years and has her master's degree specifically in Dementia from Trinity College Dublin, graduating first in her class. In her current role as program manager for Age- and Dementia-Friendly Health Systems at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, she works to bring older adults the healthcare access they need and deserve. In her spare time, she is on the board of the Dorchester Food Co-Op and an advisor for a dementia care platform startup, EmTech Care Labs. But most importantly, she is now spending time with her brand new baby boy, Miles.
