Allison Cooper - Oakland

Allison Marie Cooper is a climate justice activist, public arts advocate, and designer. Passionate about building an equitable, sustainable future for her East Bay community, Allison advocates for climate action on the Board of Directors of 350 Bay Area Action, and on the 350 Bay Area’s youth-led Mobilizing Team. Allison grew up in Albany, CA, and earned a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from McGill University in Montréal, Québec. She holds an MBA in Design Strategy from the California College of the Arts and a Graduate Certificate in Transportation and Land Use Planning from San Jose State University, and was a 2020 fellow with the Clean Energy Leadership Institute. Now living on Lisjan-Ohlone land in El Cerrito, Allison works in education technology and serves on her city’s Arts and Culture Commission. She enjoys hiking, traveling, and experimenting with new art mediums.
