Allie Roberts

Allie Roberts is an advocate for people experiencing homelessness. She holds a Bachelors degree in Government from University of Texas Austin and oversees remote services at Sunrise Homeless Navigation Center.

Allie has held various positions in homeless services and nonprofits since 2017. In Spring 2022, she dropped out of her Texas State MPA program to focus on creating a hotline for under-served community members in need of housing and other help. Prior to her current role, she worked on the Emergency Housing Voucher team at the Austin Housing Authority. Allie is a voting member of the Austin Permanent Housing Committee and participates in other community workgroups. Her interests include technology, equity, and housing policy. The only thing Allie enjoys more than taking hotline calls is climbing at Austin Bouldering Project.
