Alicia Gonzalez

Alicia Gonzalez is the Economic Inclusion Data Analyst at the Johns Hopkins Office of Economic Development. She leads the data management and reporting for the University's and Health System's economic inclusion program, which has resulted in nearly two thousand hires from distressed local neighborhoods and hundreds of millions of dollars in spend with Baltimore City businesses. She believes that all people are value driven. Her three core values are integrity, innovation and analytical thinking.

Alicia has proudly spent seven years of her career in higher education and argues that education is one of the most important sources of opportunity. Prior to working at Johns Hopkins University and Health System, she worked at the Office of Institutional Research at Claremont McKenna College. Born and raised in California, she obtained her Master in Public Policy from the University of Southern California and her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology at the University of California, Berkeley. In 2018, Alicia canvassed for Katie Porter's campaign in CA-45. Two years later, she spent the months leading up to the 2020 general election working at voter registration drives in Baltimore City. In her spare time, Alicia can be found immersed in a speculative fiction novel, running or enjoying a peaceful hike.
