Alexandra Perez Stern - 2024 NLC New York City Fellow
Alexandra “Lexi” Perez Stern is a lifelong New Yorker with a passion for social justice. In her current role as Special Assistant to the District Attorney of Manhattan, Lexi collaborates with all branches of the Office to prepare special projects for the DA and serves on the Executive Board of the Black Professionals Affinity Group. Prior to that role, she spent time at Weill Cornell and Mount Sinai conducting clinical research on breast cancer, decision making, and depression from the lens of computational psychiatry. She has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Amherst College with a concentration in behavioral neuroscience.
Lexi currently lives in Brooklyn and enjoys running, painting, and spending time with her family.
She is an advocate for those struggling with mental illness and for survivors of sexual assault, and she looks forward to making lasting change in her community.
