Alexa McIndoe - 2025 NLC Twin Cities Fellow

Alexa McIndoe (she/her) is the Communications Project Manager at the Women’s Foundation of Minnesota, where she crafts impactful strategies to inspire change and foster community connections. With a BA in Journalism and Women’s Studies from the University of Minnesota Duluth, Alexa has over a decade of experience supporting marginalized communities and advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion through her work. At Proof Alliance, she hosted Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) Day at the Capitol, managed public awareness campaigns, and oversaw grant programs. She also supported fundraising efforts at YouthLink to aid young people experiencing homelessness. A maker at heart, Alexa enjoys crafting, like embroidery, felting, crocheting, and other fiber arts. Originally from Southern California, she lives in Minnesota with her wife, daughter, and their mischievous corgi.
