Alex Hirsch

Alex Hirsch (he/him) is a community leader who knows that real change comes through collaboration and people working together. Alex was raised by a single mother who taught him the importance of hard work and service. Alex earned a full-ride scholarship to UC Berkeley and later graduated from the UC Davis School of Law because he knew he wanted to use his law degree to help people. In his professional career, Alex has worked as an attorney for the Office of Legislative Counsel and as a Policy Consultant for the California State Senate with a focus on housing, health, criminal justice, and transportation legislation. Alex is active in his community of West Sacramento, volunteering on city commissions and serving on the Board of Directors for the West Sacramento Friends of the Library. In his free time, Alex enjoys traveling to new countries to experience other cultures and gain new perspectives.
