Alejandro Barragan

Alejandro R.L Barragán is a political consultant and campaign advisor. Born and raised in San Antonio, TX, he is an alumnus of Holy Cross High School and the University of Texas at San Antonio, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. After Graduating, he entered the campaign field joining Congressman Joaquin Castro’s political office before joining Secretary Julián Castro’s 2020 presidential campaign. He went on to serve in various fundraising and outreach positions for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, the Oregon Health Authority, and several campaigns throughout Texas.

Upon returning to San Antonio, Alejandro established Frontera Strategy Group, a fundraising and political consulting firm that has successfully raised nearly $1M in support of Latinx candidates. Outside the political realm, Alejandro finds fulfillment in community service, actively contributing to his church. During his leisure time, you may catch him exploring the scenic wilderness parks of San Antonio.
