Aaron Haier
Aaron Haier - 2025 NLC New Jersey Fellow
Aaron Haier is an experienced attorney and advocate who was born and raised in Jersey City. He began his legal career as an associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, where he specialized in commercial litigation and maintained an active pro bono practice with a focus on housing law, gun violence prevention, and voting rights. Aaron currently serves as Senior Counsel to the Attorney General of New Jersey. Prior to practicing law, Aaron worked for the City of Newark, where he oversaw the Newark Healthy Homes Program.
Aaron earned his B.A., M.A., and J.D. from New York University. At NYU Law, he was a Moelis Fellow for Urban Law and Public Affairs and served on the executive board of the Review of Law and Social Change.
