Founded in 2011, NLCPhilly has been a chapter proudly training cross-sector, proximate leaders who create lasting community impact. These young leaders represent the changing demographics of an old, rusted city seeking a new direction to lead them in the 21st Century. With multiple alumni who have now established themselves in leadership positions across the range of civic services, NLC has proven that progress is a process to be trusted.
Since our founding, we’ve trained over 200 leaders in Philadelphia.
Hours of training provided to emerging leaders, at no cost to participants.
Over $150,000 raised in support of training place-based leaders in Philadelphia.
