NLC Orlando seeks to create inclusive, equitable communities by developing and supporting change leaders through place-based, proximate leadership development and community building.

NLC has given me an opportunity to expand my horizons, lean into my goals, and create once in a lifetime bonds with people. When the program began I had only a faint idea of where I wanted to go, what I wanted to create, or how to get there. NLC not only gave me the tools to find that clarity but the inspiration and confidence to put those plans into action. Every step of the way I have been supported by the fellows in my cohort, chapter directors, and alumni.
NLC has inspired me to dream bigger and has given me the confidence to step into leadership positions at work and within NLC. The support and endless positivity of my cohort and institute leaders really made the experience meaningful. I look forward to the opportunity to help recreate similar experiences for our incoming fellows.
Participating in NLC did not only allow me to grow professionally but also provided me with a network of community-driven change-makers that inspired me to seek to create a lasting impact in my community. NLC made me an effective leader and public servant.
