NLC Detroit is unique in its ability to curate spaces for historically excluded communities to develop into a base of leaders across all professional sectors. We train leaders who are committed to moving the communities they serve forward, and provide the skills and network to make progress a reality. We are particularly proud of our alumni’s presence in government, including policy advisors, City Council candidates, and elected officials.
Since our founding, we’ve trained 180 NLC Fellows in Detroit.
