NLC’s 2012 National Leadership Retreat has come to a conclusion, but the memories, connections and lessons learned will continue to inspire each of us to move powerfully as progressives.

Thank you to our speakers and panel guests including Doug Shipman, Kim Bearden, Saba Long, Richard Ray, Representative Scott Holcomb, Sherra Bell, Dr. Arlene Lester, Julius Pryor III, Representative Yasmin Neal, Kristin Oblander, Chad Kennedy, Justin Tanner, Vimala Phongsavanh, Justin Braz, Mike Moschella and keynote speaker Al Checchi.

An extra special thank you to fellows Saira Raza & Charles Cole for bringing a personal progressive perspective during our first ever Fellows Forum.

What NLC does matters. Whether we move powerfully on the dance floor or in the meeting rooms, the network we are all so proud to be a part of is driving real progressive change in 20 markets across the U.S. with more to come.

Because you took time to spend this wonderful weekend learning about our organization and where it is going, 2013 will be NLC’s best year yet.
