New Leaders Council

All posts in News

Each year, Fellows across the country give back to NLC and get a chance to flex some of the skills they glean from the Institute training by planning and implementing a Fellows Fundraiser Event.
These events provide an initial platform for new leaders to engage members of their community and proceeds go toward funding Institute training for the next year’s class.
Each Institute class is responsible for every detail of its fundraiser, a valuable real-world lesson that, while challenging is also an accomplishment Fellows take great pride in doing well. Classes create their own communications plans, budgets, and overall execution strategies. Proceeds go directly toward NLC’s efforts to build the long-term Progressive Infrastructure.
You can support dynamic young leaders in your community and help NLC reach our goal of training 10,000 new leaders across the nation by 2020. Join us at the 2013 Fellows Event in your area. Check our events calendar for details.
